Rehearsal SAFARI @ Jungle Island, Miami Beach

Erica & Matt

An evening complete with exotic wildlife, fire dancers, and tropical florals can only equal a FUN party!

Guests attended in their safari chic attires completed at Jungle Island with tribal face paints. They ate, drank and certainly were merry as they danced the night away.

Innovation NOT optional...

Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables
When it comes to trends in the event world, we work hard to always push the envelope and stay current, and steer far from the usual and "oh so done".

We were thrilled to collaborate with Jackie Farah from Jackie Ohh Events on a project for her website called "Decor Trends". We designed this outlandish yet incredibly sophisticated tablescape in yellow and black with contrasting white linens.

Everything from the hanging mirror and floral pommanders to the handmade napkin rings (see below), came together beautifully creating a classic color combination in a contemporary design.

Needless to say, the Biltmore Hotel's landscape was the perfect background.

A big thanks to Martha from UDS photography for these images.

EAT PRAY LOVE

08.17.10 @ Avant Gardens

We were hoping, yet not this extent, that a night dedicated to E. Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love would be a successful event at Avant Gardens. The combination of yummy Balinese snacks, soul warming teas, maybe a shot of freshly brewed espresso or event better, a glass or two of Chianti (Viva Italia!), an inspiring and spiritually awakening presentation by our friend Eddie Rodriguez, and the company of over 80 old and new friends made for an unforgettable evening. Our design team was proud to introduce our new flower arrangements and plants themed with the search for balance in our lives.

Here are a couple of photos featuring keepsake gifts, imported directly from Bali. Keep them in mind for your own home or as a thoughtful birthday, thank you or “just because” gift for that special friend or loved one. Also, visit us frequently to see our ever-changing inventory of one-of-a-kind home imports, including furniture and accents from Bali.

Thank you to Reverend Eddie Rodriguez, In Focus Studios, Ubi's Music & Lighting, Aroma Espresso, Elements & Accents, Area 31 Restarant at the Epic Hotel, and Paragon Grove Theaters.

Nicolette, Gianna & Giselle's Princess Birthday

Why choose only one princess...
when we can decorate a fairytale birthday party with all of them! Aurora, Jasmine, Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty
all starred in this colorful display of little girl fantasies!

Dozens of chinese lanterns created a soft canopy in pinks and yellows.

Whimsical centerpieces showcased each princess.

Flowers, balloons and butterflies... Magic!

Wedding @ Mayfair House & Spa, Coconut Grove

Elizabeth & Luis 11.28.09

Elizabeth worked at Avant Gardens for close to 5 years.
Having finished her Masters Degree in Finance, she moved on to pursue her career but remains loyal and supportive to this day. She's always around and giving us a hand for Valentine's and Mother's Day. We just can't get rid of her (and wouldn't want to)!
For a while we had been anxiously waiting for Luis to propose
and to start our wedding planning engines. The results: an all white flower and candle glow ceremony, followed by a chic blue and chocolate brown reception that made for a fun and elegant wedding celebration.
Now... on to the baby shower?

Congratulations Eli & Luis!
We love you and wish that the happiness you felt on your wedding day
will only multiply through the years.

Wedding @ The Biltmore Hotel, Coral Gables

Alicia & Tony 11.28.09

We were thrilled when our dear friend and colleague Alicia got engaged and came to us for her wedding decoration. It's always fun to work with someone you know and care about.

She chose a bold white and black linen with striking red florals. A mix of round tables featuring sexy black curvy vases and royal tables with countless candles adding to the romantic ambiance.
Congratulations and many happy years to come!

The modern and elegant Epic Hotel was the perfect setting for this contemporary bride. A white wedding ceremony with the pop of lime green color in the bridesmaid's bouquets. A contrasting light and dark reception ballroom with red centerpieces in a perfectly simple yet chic red berry and branch display. Beautiful yet, oh-so-cool.

Alain Martinez Rocks the Dress?

The Breakers, Palm Beach

Our good friend and one of South Florida's premier photographers Alain Martinez (http://www.alainmartinez.com/) posted a great shoot with a couple who had previously been married and wanted more photos with the dress... hence "Rock the Dress".
We provided the bouquet in vibrant colors that pop in many of the photos.
